Pictures of Portugal #5

So, how would you like to live in that house?  The white one with the clay roof.  See the laundry hanging in the yard.  There was about 8 feet to the train track.  Maybe the people in the house and the people in the train lean way out their windows and give eachother a high five.

I think they took "paste" a little too literally.

One too many late nights at the grocery store!!  At first it would take us, seriously, 4 hours to shop.  We'd spend so much time looking things up in our dictionary.  But, I have to say - I'm quite good at shopping now - almost down to my Walmart times.

Fall colors reminded me of home!!!

This is how they control traffic on busy highways under construction - with ping pong paddles.  hahaha

This is one of our "actual" church buildings.  We don't have too many of those in Portugal.  This is in Coimbra.  Churches are often just part of another building (like an office building).

Wow - great picture, Denise.  Why, thank you.

This is a park in Coimbra that we picnic'ed at between church and an EFY presentation later in the day.  Beautiful, huh?

This really is what you think it is...

A whole, skinned, pig - shrink wrapped in the frozen food case at our big supermarket.

Isn't Rick so sweet - how he cradles it like a baby...
