Picts of Portugal #2

So, I'm going to try to do this a little different.  Picture, then caption.  The next few are interesting things in Portugal.  Let's see if I can do it...

This was a sculpture at Batalha.  A little freaky.  I guess I need to take an "art appreciation" class to figure out the meaning.

This whole forest had these "cups" attached to them.  They strip the bark and collect the sap - we never figured out what it's used for, though.

Portuguese version of "barbed wire" - funny!!



 This man was seriously "walking his dog, by car" down a main mountain road.  The poor dog was completely wiped out.

So, I'm going to post these to make sure it all works out right.  I'll probably post just a few at a time.
